A B O U T
An award-winning Art Director at Warner Bros. Records, and Creative Director at Elektra Records, Robin is currently a tenured Associate Professor of Graphic Design at Purchase College, SUNY and continues to design with her firm Negerkunst Studio.
Her work has been featured in design compendiums and periodicals and her writing has appeared in ID magazine. Robin has written and produced print and documentary video pieces for Rockefeller Foundation.
Before teaching at Purchase, Robin lectured at Otis Parsons, Minneapolis College of Art and Design, taught in the Graduate Design Program at SVA and served for 9 years as a lecturer and visiting critic in the Master's Degree Program at Yale School of Art. Professor Lynch taught drawing at Purchase's summer study abroad programs in Pisciotta, Italy and Antibes, France. Her academic awards include faculty research and development awards from Emily and Eugene Grant, and Dee and Robert Topol.
Lynch has sat on the Board of Advisors for Mohawk Paper, the Board of Directors for the N.Y. Chapter of the AIGA and has consulted to the President of the U.S. on Design (making her a member of a select club whose personal information was stolen from the White House).
